Pickle and Vinegar Company was established in 1906 and remains a
privately owned family business located on the Braunstone Frith
Industrial Estate in Leicester, England. We are actively seeking to develop and distribute a growing inventory of new and exciting products, strenghthening our position as a leading supplier of pickled products in the food sector Yearly Drivers process over 800 tons of prepared vegetables, 5 million boiled eggs and bottle in excess of 2 million litres of vinegar The company manufactures and distributes a wide range of pickles, condiments, sauces and vinegars to the food service sector, wholesalers, Cash & carry, fish sundriesmen and Local authorities throughout the UK. The company exports through specialist agents to countries such as Saudi Arabia and the USA under the Driver's brand and customers own labels. We are committed to high standards of quality, hygiene and food handling practices, whilst retaining the benefit of a personal service from a family team. All raw materials are purchased from reputable companies who undergo a rigorous vetting process before they are accepted onto our list of approved suppliers Quality assurance is maintained through a specially designed code of practice which covers all aspects of due dilligence and HACCP procedures. As an approved supplier to the NHS we enjoy full STS (Support Training and services ltd) Audit certification having met the standards required for BRC at higher level. |
